Fragile Illusions

As a mother of three, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Dishes, food, cooking and cleaning — everything goes in a daily routine flow. This immerses me in a melancholic mood.

In my reverie, I begin to notice how plates, mugs, knives and other objects turn into circles, squares, lines, dots. I am fascinated by the play of imagination. In the kitchen, I create images, explore the properties of materials, color and light.

The kitchen becomes a place of inspiration, where I can embody ideas and images into creativity.
